To celebrate our participation in the 71st Cannes Film Festival, here are the best scenes in which coffee almost becomes one of the characters.
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S, 1961
One of the most iconic scenes ever in the world of the silver screen. Famous star Audrey Hepburn stops to gaze at the window of the famous Tiffany’s store in New York, holding an American coffee and a pastry.
AMELIE, 2001
In one of the most famous French films, the character played by Audrey Tautou works in a Parisian café (the Café des 2 Moulins, which still exists today) and coffee is present in many of the scenes.
COFFEE AND CIGARETTES, 2004
This famous film starring Roberto Benigni contains a scene in which the two leading characters sit at a table drinking coffee and chatting about the two main themes: coffee and cigarettes.
HEAT, 1995
In the film, the two protagonists, Al Pacino and Robert de Niro, sit in a typical American diner chatting, in front of two cups of coffee.
PULP FICTION, 1994
In this film there are plenty of scenes featuring coffee! The most famous one is the scene in which two of the protagonists discuss where and how to hide a corpse while sipping a cup of coffee.
